DinahBird is a radio artist and feature maker living and working in Paris and London. She makes radio programmes, audio publications, installations, and soundtracks. Recent commissions include The Music Machine, a programme about the ondioline, one of the first electronic synthesisers for BBCR4, Natures Constuites, a sound/video collaboration that documents urban transformation in Northern Paris, and Songs of the Brewery, an in-situ sound installation for Cork, European Capital of Culture, 2005. Works have been played on BBCR4, France Culture's Atelier de Création Radiophonique, Resonance FM and on Kunst Radio. She is presently employed by the Museum of Modern Art, Paris to develop a programme of sound workshops in relation to their permanent and temporary collections.

Work in progress.. Soundtrack (with Jean-Philippe Renoult) for City Loops, a series of digital videos by the video artists Anne Cleary and Denis Connolly that observe the changing face of South Dublin Country, a part of the In Context residency. A Public Art commission by South Dublin County.
Inside Out, sound installation and performance commissioned by La Cartonnerie (Reims) for Magma festival. Recordings made in the champage cellers of Pommery and Veuve Cliquot.
When Silence Sings, an experimental audio piece co-commissioned by SRc, (Swedish Public Radio ) and ABC Classic’s participative sound project, Pool. It will be broadcast on BBCR3 Between The Ears in June 2008.

Soundtrack for Natures Construites (with Jean-Philippe Renoult), a series of films by Anne Cleary and Denis Connolly that documents the changing urban landscape of the 18th arrondissement of Paris.

Songs of the Brewery (with Jean-Philippe Renoult), sound installation for Cork, European Capital of Culture. A radio version of the piece was broadcast on Kunst Radio in 2006.

Nocinema.org (by Jérôme Joy) brings the visitor to distant locations by using live footage of webcams posted around the world interwined with random sound mixes by Magali Babin, Christophe Charles, Yannick Dauby, Luc Kerléo, Alain Michon, Jocelyn Robert and Chantal Dumas. It has been presented at the Rencontre Internationales Paris/Berlin, Travelling No Moving, Montreal and Urban Screens, Manchester.
